Taking cues from the Georgian era but updated with a modern twist, Lovely Day Events curated this breathtaking scene depicting a modern romance in a historic mansion – The Woodbine Mansion, that is! This Round Rock gem’s stately rooms and abundant natural light highlight the grandiose tablescape featuring furniture and linens from Premiere Events, as well as accent pieces from Loot Rentals. Perhaps the element we love most from this inspiring scene? All the color! Planner Kierstin Schupack found a way to use bold, primary colors in such a sophisticated, understated and classic way, especially through Bricolage’s amazing floral arrangements! Kristin La Voie Photography matched the sophisticated style with her imagery and captured a few unique shots of the bride, wearing a Julian Gold gown complemented by a red lip and loosely pulled back hairstyle from Makeup ATX. Grey Meets Gold supplied the orgainic stationery items, and rather than a typical wedding cake, the planner opted for daintier desserts from Sweet Treets Bakery. Wouldn’t you love to have a seat at this table? We sure would! Cheers!

From the planner, Kierstin Schupack of Lovely Day Events: “I have always loved the style and colors from the Georgian era but many of the design elements from that period can feel overwhelming to our modern senses. The inspiration for this shoot came from wanting to blend elements from the Georgian era with a modern update. The florals were inspired by 18th century paintings as well as the place settings, stationery, desserts and colors. I updated the look with acrylic ghost chairs and a gorgeous modern gown.”
