Inspired by a one-of-a-kind, non-traditional wedding dress, this modern mediterranean styled shoot from Nikk Nguyen Photography inspires us to embrace the creative and think outside the box when it comes to wedding day beauty! The Contemporary Austin – Laguna Gloria served as the backdrop for this inspirational shoot styled by Pearl Events Austin , which evokes the free-spiritedness and bold blue tones of Greece and infuses those with modern details, from the bride’s modern geometric accessories all the way to the tablescape and copper chairs Loot Vintage. Organic florals from Wildly Cultivated, some in copper vases and some loosely gathered, soften up the space and tie in the natural surroundings of the lakeside Austin venue. And if not for the incredible boho-casual Aegean gown by Rue De Seine from Unbridaled, this styled shoot would’ve never come to be. What a great reminder that inspiration and beauty can come from the smallest details – a flower, a piece of clothing, anything! Cheers!

From the photographer: “Pulling this shoot off was a dream for me as a wedding photographer. Laguna Gloria is one of the most beautiful venues in Austin, and I’ve been looking forward to this boho inspiration shoot for a long time now. To say that I’m happy to see the finished product couldn’t be more of an understatement – I’m ecstatic! This shoot had all the feels: soft, romantic and edgy all in one, and to be able to capture it during sunset was a dream come true! Inspiration for this shoot was a piece of cake thanks to the Aegean gown from Rue De Seine Bridal. With everything from the fringe to the details in the lace, we knew it had to be captured somewhere as natural and bold as itself and what better place than Laguna Gloria? Our stylist and coordinator, Lynsie from Pearl Events Austin, was an absolute master at pulling everything together. Everything from the florals to the tablescape to the venue itself was an integral part that made this shoot work!”
