Beneath the beautiful open Texas sky, Dessa and Stephen said “I do”‘ in a sweet minimalist pastel wedding perfectly captured by photographer Julie Wilhite. Remi + Gold adorned the modern venue with pastel blooms and plenty of gorgeous greenery that made for a simply natural celebration. Cheers to Dessa and Stephen!

Dessa and Stephen met during their junior year at the University of Texas at Austin. She spotted him on the side of the road as he was picking rosemary. Intrigued, she gave him a ride home where he explained that he was picking the herb for a dinner he was preparing for his roommates. Soon after, they began dating.
Stephen proposed while the couple was living in their first apartment together. He arrived home from work and knocked on the door along with their dog, Alfie. Around Alfie’s neck was a ring – she said yes! Dessa enlisted the help of wedding coordinator Jessika Knight who served as the month-of coordinator, but was helpful throughout the entire process. Looking back, the bride’s favorite wedding day memory was having all of their family and friends in the same place, eating and dancing together!
