Michelle Bertino and Noble Millie’s Boho Outdoor Austin Wedding
SWEET BEGINNINGS: Michelle and Noble met in Cabo San Lucas while vacationing with friends. Noble noticed Michelle across the hotel foyer, and he knew he had to talk to her. They spent the rest of the trip getting to know each other, and even though they lived on separate coasts, Michelle knew he would be in her life forever. She was right! The couple dated long-distance for two years before finally moving to be together.
PERFECT PROPOSAL: On the day of Michelle’s election as president of her charity group, Noble took her out to her hotel’s penthouse balcony. Michelle thought it would just be a quiet moment together with the beautiful San Francisco skyline as their backdrop. To her surprise, Noble dropped to one knee and asked Michelle to marry him. The moment she said yes, Noble’s family jumped out from hiding to congratulate the newly engaged couple. They celebrated with close friends and family the rest of the night to kick off their lives together.
THE SETTING: Michelle and Noble were married at Vista West Ranch and also booked The Creek Haus for onsite lodging for their guests. Michelle loved the bohemian feel of Vista Wests’ iconic barn, and she adored The Creek Haus’ honeymoon cottage, vacation home-styled cabins, and large patio for her summer camp-themed wedding. The combination of the two venues was perfect for entertaining guests for an entire weekend so the couple was able to spend more time with loved ones.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Michelle and Noble found their first dance particularly special. They had taken dance lessons and planned a choreographed routine, so they were nervous for their performance. Despite some of the difficult moves, they pulled it off perfectly and nailed every step! Their guests loved watching the couple, and Michelle and Noble will remember the moment forever.
SPECIAL TOUCHES: Arrows became a big design theme in Michelle’s wedding. From the invitations and programs to centerpieces, the groomsmen’s cufflinks, and many other decor elements, arrows tied it all together! Michelle and her mom put tremendous effort into the arrow-themed escort cards made from a hand-painted wooden dowel, and adorned with glitter-dipped feathers and a foam tip arrowhead. Michelle’s grandparents also added to the theme by making a teepee that served as the perfect backdrop for photos.
