Mediterranean Love from Silver Thistle Weddings & Events

Dressed in a bold color palette in the most spectacular garden-like setting, we’re obsessing over every detail in this brilliant Mediterranean style wedding from Silver Thistle Weddings & Events from our new Fall/Winter 2018 issue! Capturing the magic in the glittering afternoon sunlight, Caitlin Rose Photography‘s stunning images honed in on the magical setting, space and flora of The Wild Onion Ranch. Limestone walls, hanging potted plants and cobblestone pathways mimicked a Grecian-like charm to create an authentic hidden-garden-in-the-village vibe. At the center of the shoot were the eye-catching, colorful dining table and lounge settings, with cozy and inviting furniture pieces like the plush throws and Persian rug provided by Party at the Moontower. Delicate hand-calligraphy done by Averi With an Eye dotted the table setting with her individual name cards written in metallic gold, adding a special touch to the table filled with bright hues of blue, orange, marigold and green. The Flower Girl‘s floral arrangements perfectly complemented the bright color scheme, with florals of the same hues mixed with ivory, blush and fuchsia to create delightful centerpieces. Another entire table of edible centerpieces in the form of tasty treats and desserts from Iced Cakes & Confections made for another charming and delectable touch to the shoot! Of course, we have to mention the stunning model bride’s romantic look in a long train keyhole front gown from Unbridaled paired with a textured side braid and soft makeup done by the Gloss Beauty Boutique artists. We’ll forever be swooning for this shoot! Enjoy!

From the planner, Kimberly Bently of Silver Thistle Weddings & Events: “I love the gathered feel of this shoot and that it is so casual and relaxed. The setting was already beautiful and offered a serene feeling, so I wanted to enhance that but also give it a boost of color. As a former interior designer, I love color but tend to draw to more muted options. This was a great opportunity to let nature provide us with strong accents that really worked well with the surroundings.”
