Mallory Miner and Scott Odom’s Luxe Ballroom Wedding by Pearl Events Austin

PERFECT PROPOSAL: The couple was in Costa Rica on a family trip and the pair decided to play 18 holes of golf. On the 18th hole, Mallory putted the golf ball into the hole and found a ring box inside. She gave the box to Scott and he proposed right there on the green! Her family was waiting in the clubhouse and ran out to congratulate them after she said yes. It was perfect and so beautiful!

SETTING THE SCENE: Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa was perfect! The pavilion was open air, so Mallory and Scott had a beautiful hill country view, but they also had a roof over their heads so they didn’t have to worry about rain. The ballroom was close and on the property, so guests didn’t have to travel far. Both the pavilion and ballroom were the perfect size for the 300 guests in attendance for their big day.

BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: A classically designed bouquet featuring lush, white romantic flowers with a soft hint of blush and wrapped in white ribbon made Mallory’s bouquet shine. Featured florals integrated into their day included peonies, garden roses, freesia, spray roses and hydrangea.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: The most memorable moment was at the end of the ceremony when Mallory and Scott were officially announced as Mr. and Mrs. Scott Hamilton Odom, and they turned around to see all of their friends and family sitting together in one room. That moment was an amazing feeling for the couple!

SPECIAL TRADITIONS: A special arrangement of the song “Wedding Bells” was written for the string quartet to play at Mallory and Scott’s wedding during the seating of their mothers. This was to carry on a family tradition and honor Mallory’s grandparents; her grandmother had played “Wedding Bells” as part of prelude music at numerous weddings for more than 40 years, always dedicating it to her husband, Mallory’s grandfather.

VENDOR LOVE: Becky Navarro, with Pearl Events Austin, was a star. She helped lead Mallory to choosing the right vendors for their wedding and she loved all of them. Everyone did such an amazing job and Mallory wouldn’t change a thing.
