PERFECT PROPOSAL: Lindsay thought it was just another day at work modeling at Kim Dawson Agency. Little did she know Ben set up a surprise photo shoot with GRO Floral and Event Design featuring an extraordinary floral arch with a swing. During the final look for the shoot, the crew asked Lindsay to turn around to get shots of her hair. As she turned, she saw Ben standing there. He got down on one knee and popped the question. Lindsay said yes!

HUES TO USE: Lindsay wanted their wedding to be romantic and whimsical with an emphasis on floral designs. She used hues of porcelain, blush, mauve, olive, moss, wine and indigo to give their wedding a romantic feel.

AMAZING ALTAR: Lindsay designed, sketched and executed the altar herself. The backdrop was logs of various heights and sizes forming a semicircle around the altar. Ivory pillar candles, greenery and flowers completed the look.

BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: The bride carried a garden-style bouquet designed by Davy Gray with a neutral palette of ivories and soft pinks. The bouquet featured roses, ranunculus, anemone, sweet pea and astrantia flowers with pieris, astilbe, snowberry and flowering oregano as textural accent. Touches of chocolate cosmos were added for a hint of contrast and romance. Lindsay provided a dip-dyed ribbon in various shades of pink to be wrapped and dangling from the bouquet.

SAVORY SWEETS: The couple’s wedding cake was a watercolor design with swirls of pink. Their two-tiered cake consisted of red velvet with cannoli filling and chocolate.
