With summer just around the corner, we are loving the lakeside views in this bohemian Austin wedding planned by Pearl Events Austin! Jaclyn and Grant first met through their work in Houston where they became close friends. A little over a year after Jaclyn started her position, Grant left his and a few short months passed before he realized he missed seeing her every day. Further on down the road, the pair met back up with their old friend group for happy hour drinks when finally their true feelings were exchanged! Jaclyn says she knew the minute she said “I feel the same way,” that this would be the guy she was going to marry.
The couple chose Lakeway Resort and Spa for their stylish soiree, where guests could stay and enjoy the luxe accommodations on-site without the need for transportation to and from the venue. They incorporated so many sweet details into the bohemian Austin wedding, but the earth tones and neutral shades accented by pops of pink throughout florals from Remi + Gold are some of our all-time favorites. Reception dining is made a little extra elegant with the help of luxe linens from Premiere Events as well as beautiful blue napkins from Whim Hospitality – perfect for guests to enjoy delicious catering courtesy of Lakeway Resort and Spa. For after-dinner cravings, Sweet Treets Bakery created a beautiful four-tiered naked cake covered in flowers as well as a groom’s cake donning the Master’s logo. Up next was live music from Royal Dukes Band and the talented group kept guests on their feet and the dance floor full all night long. Finally, everyone prepared for a sparkler exit while Jaclyn and Grant got a private dance alone together before riding off to begin their honeymoon! Read on for a note from the bride about one of her favorite vendors from their bohemian Austin wedding and what made them so special. Cheers to the Gurrolas!

From the bride on her favorite vendor: “Twyla at Remi + Gold not only went out of her way to order this rare, out-of-season greenery that hung from the ceiling, but every floral detail was amazing. I didn’t want a floral takeover, but I wanted just enough to stand out and be unique and Twyla made it ALL happen. I wish I could’ve taken what she and her team created and made faux floral replicas to keep in my house. It was so beautiful.”
