Nix the traditional holiday weddingscape for this hot (pink) take on the classic winter color palette! Utilizing a lively, unconventional color palette of shades of green, vibrant hot pink and eclectic touches of both gold and silver metals, this wedding scene styled by Westcott Weddings showcases the intimacy associated with the holidays with a modern, fun touch. Vintage flatware, sand and cream plates and chunky blush textiles from Table Manners work in perfect harmony with the bright and bold color palette of this scene to make an eye-catching, well-rounded wedding space, including a few subtle rustic details, bright white walls and lush bunches of blooms and greenery throughout from Whim Hospitality. Pretty paper goods and flawless calligraphy from CalliRosa add personalized details to this space that we couldn’t love more – a custom invitation suite featuring the beautiful venue The Grand Lady, dainty menus to complete the perfect place setting and etched martini glasses to drink all of the signature cocktails featured on their acrylic bar sign. Nothing says cozy more than a decadent piece of red velvet cake, and this textured frosting cake from 2Tarts Bakery mixes all the best elements of this scene into a couple bites – with the cake itself even fitting almost too perfectly into the color palette for this inspiration! Scroll to see all the details of this untraditional holiday color palette and wedding scene captured by The Crakes. Cheers!

From the planner, Ellen with Westcott Weddings: “I loved designing this modern holiday shoot! Truth be told, I have never planned a ‘holiday’ wedding, and I think there’s a certain red-and-green, evergreen ‘stigma’ attached to them. (I happen to love a good holiday theme, but it’s polarizing! Who knew?) I wanted to capture all the intimacy that I associate with the holidays and also update the palette a bit to add some modernity and fun. The space at The Grand Lady was the perfect backdrop — it is instantly warm and welcoming, and there are all kinds of sweet spaces that lend themselves to a cozy, elegant celebration.”
