Truth be told, I have never planned a ‘holiday’ wedding, and I think there’s a certain red-and-green, evergreen ‘stigma’ attached to them. (I happen to love a good holiday theme, but it’s polarizing! Who knew?) I wanted to capture all the intimacy that I associate with the holidays and also update the palette a bit to add some modernity and fun. The space at The Grand Lady was the perfect backdrop — it is instantly warm and welcoming, and there are all kinds of sweet spaces that lend themselves to a cozy, elegant celebration.”
