Haley Berry and Winston Smith’s Chic Lakeside Wedding by Pearl Events Austin
SWEET BEGINNINGS: Haley and Winston met while they were both in high school. They had the same group of friends but didn’t start dating until their senior year. The couple dated long distance throughout college, Haley went to Indiana University and Win played baseball at St. Edward’s University. After Haley moved back to Austin, they got engaged two years later!
THE SETTING: Haley wanted an outdoor venue that felt romantic, formal and breathtaking. Haley’s amazing florist, Stephanie of Bouquets of Austin, suggested that she look at Villa Del Lago. This was the first venue Haley and Win visited and they booked it on the spot. It had everything she wanted and more; from the first gate entrance, everything is perfectly manicured and evokes an Italian feel with its enormous manmade waterfall, the stunning Lake Travis views, and the perfect rotunda for dancing and drinks.
HUES SHE USED: Haley wanted something timeless and stunning. After researching styles, she came across an arch that inspired the entire wedding. Bouquets of Austin created the arch and even made it better than the picture!
VENDOR LOVE: Megan Metzger with Pearl Events Austin was amazing! She was organized, professional, fun to be around and made Haley feel special. The ladies at Pearl Events are the best!
LIFE AFTER WEDDING: The couple resides in Austin where Haley is a commercial real estate broker and fashion blogger at TheChicBurrow.com, and Winston is a commercial real estate developer.
