Garden Glam Austin Wedding at Ma Maison | Jaclyn + Dustin

SWEET BEGINNINGS: Jaclyn first met Dustin in their American History class at the University of Texas. They met again through mutual friends several times before becoming close friends themselves. After months of Dustin persisting they take their friendship to the next level, Jaclyn agreed to try dating and never looked back.

THE PROPOSAL: Dustin took Jaclyn on a quick vacation to the St. Regis in Punta Mita. After a delicious dinner at Carolina’s, the two took a golf cart ride around the property. When they arrived at hole 3B on Jack Nicklaus’ championship golf course, Dustin got down on one knee and proposed to Jaclyn as the sun set over the ocean. She said yes, of course!

THE SPARKLE: Jaclyn wore a beautiful pair of asscher-cut diamond stud earrings, a surprise wedding gift from the groom. The earrings are special to her because each time she wears them, she is reminded of the best day of her life.

AMAZING ALTAR: The ceremony altar was a lush “roof” of romantic ivory, blush and pale peach blooms. The aisle was richly lined with blush rose petals creating the perfect dreamy backdrop for exchanging vows.

HUES SHE USED: Jaclyn always imagined her wedding would have a romantic garden party feel with natural hues of ivory and blush. When the wedding date was set for September, she opted to incorporate fall shades, so deep fig and gold accents were added.

SAVORY SWEETS: Simon Lee Bakery created a gorgeous four-tiered wedding cake. The bottom half was funfetti flavored, the bride’s favorite, and covered in delicate ruffles, while the top half was a sour cream berry flavor with fresh berries decorated to mimic the intricate lace on Jaclyn’s wedding gown.
