The Rustic Romance of Hidden River Ranch is Florally Adorned in the Most Colorful Palette

Fall in love with this Hacienda wedding venue and floral inspiration captured beautifully by Caitlin Rose Photography! Infused with jaw-dropping floral design by Reiley + Rose, where their mission is to create floral designs as unique and beautiful as your love story, this shoot features a floral palette in shades that mimic Austin sunsets. Bright, blooming circus roses, hot lady roses, tessa garden roses, hermosa roses, blush peonies and more all work in unison to bring the lush garden vibes to this desert-y Texas scene – held at Hidden River Ranch Weddings & Events, one of the newest wedding venues in Hill Country. Located on 540 beautiful acres in Lampasas, Texas, on “Sunset Hill” this venue obviously boasts the most incredible views. Hidden River Ranch offers a 10,000 square foot event barn sitting over a large pond with a bridal suite, grooms loft and over 3,000 square feet of outdoor patio area. Outside of the event barn, a spacious courtyard area attaches to the elegant Hidden River Ranch chapel. There is also a gorgeous outdoor pavilion that sits on the edge of the pond – perfect for any outdoor event! For wedding venue and floral inspiration, look no further than this colorful garden-style palette. Read on for a note from florist Reiley + Rose about the incredible flowers that made up her romantic and cheery outdoor installations. Cheers!

From the florist, Megan with Reiley + Rose: “For the design I went with a completely foam-free design which is super sustainable – where we’re seeing a lot of floral designs going. I wanted the design to really embody our design style of curated, garden-esque, loose and flowing designs. The loose smilax gives lots of movement for the design, and then we went with a fun ombré color palette for the actual florals throughout. I really wanted to make a statement but also give a feeling of a romantic garden-style palette. We went with a palette of light blush, pink, hot pink and fuchsia.

The wind was definitely a huge factor in the day, but shows a true testament for design techniques and mechanics to ensure our designs stayed and held. I think one of my favorite aspects was the color palette. I love experimenting and playing with different palettes, and it’s one we haven’t had the opportunity to do for a wedding yet. As far as florals go, we used several different shades of roses, including circus roses, hot lady roses, tessa garden roses and hermosa roses, along with blush peonies, coral ranunculus, peppery berry, pink and hot pink scabiosa and blush dahlias.”
