A Moody Fall Hill Country Wedding at Hidden Falls
by Sara Haugland August 26
Christy Martin and Michael Friedrichsen’s Hill Country wedding gives off so many moody and romantic fall vibes – you could say we’re kind of obsessed! The modern setting of Hayes Hollow at Hidden Falls was the perfect location for this outdoor ceremony and reception. It only took one look for us to fall head-over-heels for their moody, fall color palette of merlot, blood orange, blush and white; combined with the subtle blue details and gold accents, there’s not much about this color combination we don’t love. We definitely wish we were invited to their reception, as the evening was full of dancing and reminiscing with the couple’s closest family and friends. To top off the wedding weekend, guests enjoyed accommodations by the unmatched JW Marriott Austin. Scroll to see all the dreamy details of their big day and to get all the moody fall inspiration you could dream of. Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Friedrichsen!

From the bride: “We rented houses on the property of Hidden Falls so the groomsmen could get ready in one house and the bridesmaids in another house. It was so fun getting to relax and hang out all day! My favorite part was the reception. We danced the entire time and got to catch up with friends and family – all while on the dance floor!”
