Fall Austin Wedding at Ma Maison Captured by AL Gawlik Photography | Jessica + Brent

SWEET BEGINNINGS: Jessica and Brent met through mutual friends in December 2010. They were both invited to a watch party for the Big 12 Championship football game, and when they met each other they knew there was instant chemistry.

PERFECT PROPOSAL: Brent proposed to Jessica on Christmas morning at their home. After opening presents with their son, Parker, Jessica was cleaning up when she heard Brent ask about one last gift under the tree. Parker picked up the gift and opened it in front of Jessica, who turned to see Brent on one knee. The rest of the day was spent celebrating with family, making it the most memorable Christmas!

THE SETTING: Jessica and Brent got married at the beautiful Ma Maison in Dripping Springs. Their ceremony was nestled under a grove of live oak trees with a stone arc as the altar. The reception followed in the great hall adorned with natural wood beams and chandeliers. Jessica loved the many options and charming details offered by Ma Maison, and knew it was the perfect fit for their wedding.

HUES SHE USED: Jessica wanted a classic wedding with a vintage-chic style. She knew she wanted to use grey for the bridesmaid’s dresses, but she struggled to find colors to complement. After searching Pinterest, she was inspired by a bouquet with cream, peach and cranberry, and thought it worked perfectly for the season.
