Entrees & On Trays – Wedding Catering Ideas from Austin’s Culinary Artists

This season we are bringing you delicious flavors from Austin’s top catering companies served as passed pieces or plated entrees. We’re sure that these wedding catering ideas will leave your guests happy and impressed!


Start with shrimp from Pink Avocado Catering! Delight your taste buds with a fresh presentation of shrimp scampi served on grit cakes with cajun aioli and pickled celery. Garnish creamy cheese grits with shrimp in a lemon garlic wine sauce for a plated version.


Sample the salmon from The Salt Lick! Wow guests with smoked salmon lollipops filled with raspberry cream cheese and wasabi crème fraiche. Roll out a plated version with salmon sushi rolls stuffed with vegetables, baby red ribbon sorrel and a cumin Sriracha sauce.


Pick your pork with Royal Fig Catering! Enrich your palette with slow roasted pork loin wrapped in pork belly, accompanied with a side of roasted beets. Give guests a bite sized version with pork belly from the porchetta served on slider buns with beet slaw.


Cue the quail with Verde’s Catering! Savor every bite of bacon wrapped quail breast on top of a grilled tomatillo with tequila lime butter.
