The Grand Lady served as the venue and backdrop for this editorial, which you can see in its entirety in the latest Brides of Austin issue! Wanting to show how a vintage, Hill Country venue can still be the perfect place to host a truly elegant, black-tie affair, the ladies at Eclipse Event Co. chose each element carefully to create a cohesive, formal look. The Bloom Bar‘s incredible florals helped achieve the formal vibes with anemones and an array of white blooms offering a sleek, monochromatic look. An intimate dinner party awaits with the lounge area and table from Zen Event Rentals, topped with chic linens and dinnerware from Marquee Event Rentals – what a duo! Deep emerald green, pops of gold and a sea of white all work seamlessly to form a magical, elegant affair at this historical Austin wedding venue, and we are enamored to say the least!

From the planners, Kristi Depew and Lauren Chumbley of Eclipse Event Co.: “With this design, we wanted a more modern, black tie formal look. The monochromatic plateware settings helped the greens and golds pop even more against the white table. The idea was to show how even a venue with vintage nods in the Hill Country can still be an elegant affair!”

From the florist, The Bloom Bar: “For this shoot, I really wanted to play up the dimensional white textures and the clean look of no greenery. One of my favorite touches were the blooming branches that added a wispy and ethereal look. I designed the ceremony backdrop to double as an accent around the dining table.”
