An Elegant Wedding Fitting of their Ireland Castle Proposal

A timeless and elegant wedding is to be expected after Regan Opel and Lee Moran got engaged in front of a castle in Ireland! The couple loved the history and grand elegance of The Driskill, which proved to be the perfect venue for their dream day. The ladies at Trademark Weddings & Events did a phenomenal job of helping the couple incorporate personalized details into their big day, like the bride’s favorite tea as their favors and rose petal filled tea cups as centerpieces. From the bride about their engagement: “Our second dating anniversary was coming up, and we had been talking for a while about taking a nice trip to celebrate. We had agreed to exchange some small gifts for our one-and-a-half-year anniversary, but Lee surprised me with a huge gift – a trip to Ireland and a two night staying in Ashford Castle! As we were getting ready for dinner at the castle, Lee told me that he had upgraded our dinner package and we’d be doing some pictures in front of the castle before dinner. We met the photographer in the lobby and then headed outside onto the lawn in front of the castle. After snapping a couple of pictures, Lee turned to me and said he had a very important question to ask me before getting down on one knee and asking me to marry him. I said ‘yes!’ With the ring on my finger, we set off with the photographer into the gardens around the castle and took our engagement pictures. The staff went out of their way to make our night really special, even sending a butler out into the gardens with champagne to toast our engagement!”
