Lovebirds Lauren and Max met while attending college at UT. They knew they wanted to get married in the city where they fell in love, and the Four Seasons Hotel Austin was a perfect choice! They enlisted the help of Austin wedding planners extraordinaire Brock + Co. Events to help bring their dream day to life.
“Lauren envisioned an elegant, yet fun, affair, elegant to the last detail and bursting with bold colors. Our team spent hours brainstorming ways to make this event unique and reflective of Lauren and Max,” said Becky Brock of Brock + Co. Events.
The wedding weekend kicked off with custom welcome boxes designed by Brock + Co. which included AustiNuts, Deep Eddy Vodka, Topo Chico as well as koozies and other treats! Max’s ring and Lauren’s jewelry came from Austin staple, The Menagerie.
Brock + Co. Events created two color palettes for this wedding, the ceremony was clean and white to keep the focus on the ceremony and to coincide with the rich walls and gold ceiling of the ceremony venue. Florals from Westbank Flower Market helped create the incredible reception space.
“Our flowers were out-of-this-world stunning. From the floral-topped banquettes, the eight foot flower wall and the 24 foot cascading lush florals down the head table, to our heavenly bouquets and the peonies that adorned our cake, the flowers were more gorgeous than I could have ever imagined,” said Lauren.
Lauren wanted a special room dedicated to Max, so Brock + Co. Events created an upscale Biergarten that paid homage to his German heritage! This late night destination featured a 24 foot bar serving up Texas and German beers, Elgin sausage, candied bacon, beer cheese and bratwurst. His and hers “Hopdoddy inspired” milkshake shooters kept guests coming back all night long!
The amazing seven-tiered cake from Simon Lee Bakery was adorned with bold blooms and so delicious. Rentals from Premiere Select and Whim Hospitality were the perfect touches to the reception space.
“We were blessed with clients who gave us creative freedom and allowed us to do what we do best! The end result was pure magic,” said Becky.
