Elegant Austin Wedding from Lee Warth Floral Design | Rachel + Ryan

PERFECT PROPOSAL: Rachel and Ryan met in Dallas on a beautiful summer night. They quickly fell in love and knew they were meant for one another. On Memorial Day weekend 2013, Ryan proposed on his family’s land in the Texas Hill Country on a swing by the Llano River. Following the proposal, they celebrated with Rachel’s family at Steiner Ranch Steakhouse where they would later host their rehearsal dinner.

THE PLANNING: Due to scheduling around football season for the groomsmen, a quick engagement was determined and wedding planning began right away. The date was set for September 28, 2013, only four short months after the proposal.

SAYING “I DO”: It was important for the couple to have a Christian ceremony, so they chose Austin Baptist Church where the bride’s parents attended. Reverend Elliott Powell, the couple’s brother-in-law, officiated the ceremony that made for a special service. Lake Austin Strings and Logan Walter Band performed music not to be forgotten, and close family friend Terri Guthrie was key in directing the service.

RECEPTION DETAILS: The Starlight Terrace at The Oasis on Lake Travis was the perfect venue for the reception with its breathtaking views and ability to accommodate their 400 attendees. Lee Warth Floral Design provided incredible arrangements for both the wedding and the reception. The groom’s cousin, Jeff Davis of ACCESS Texas, was instrumental in providing creativity and beauty for the reception, which was enjoyed by all. The couple carefully selected a talented photographer and videographer so they can reminisce on their special day for a lifetime.

FEELINGS AFTER THE BIG DAY: The couple’s wedding day was a dream-come–true. They will always look back on the memories, laughter, love, and moments they shared together with their closest friends and family with a smile. They will cherish their special day forever.
