We are loving the details in this desert chic wedding captured by Nikk Nguyen Photo. The brides used accents of orange, yellow and wood to make this day truly a dream. They enjoyed an outdoor ceremony incorporating their parents, poems and joking about how they met. In college, Claudia asked a friend to arrange a group happy hour at a local bar. However, Becca didn’t realize it was a date until arriving three hours late. Even on their wedding day, Claudia still jokes that Becca stood her up on their first date.
The beautiful ceremony incorporated a warm-toned pattern rug and a wooden triangle-shaped altar. After, Rebecca and Claudia changed for the reception into their custom suits to celebrate accordingly. They also enjoyed a delicious meal and drinks all night long from Austin Catering. Following dinner, everyone enjoyed a stunning cake incorporated with white frosting and a beautiful floral arrangement from Sweet Treats Bakery. The warmth and love perpetuated throughout the evening. Check out their dreamy desert chic wedding gallery below! Congratulations Mrs. and Mrs. Leon!

From Rebecca on her favorite detail: “Claudia is Cuban, and one of her family wedding traditions is for the matriarchs of the family to bless the union by wrapping a Mantilla, or lace veil, over the shoulders of the couple. The Mantilla used at our wedding was an heirloom, and it was especially meaningful for her grandmothers to bless our union as a same sex couple.”
