Courtney Blair and Harrison House’s Modern Tropical Austin Wedding Captured by Gloria Goode Photography
Courtney and Harrison met during their freshman year of college at the University of Oklahoma. After a year of friendship, the two began to date. When it was time to pop the question, Harrison found the perfect moment. While on a spring break trip in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico they took a private boat cruise out to the Arches of Cabo. On the boat with the picturesque backdrop, Harrison asked Courtney to be his wife!
The couple wanted a semi-destination wedding. Being from Dallas, Austin felt like the perfect place. Deciding on a venue was easy! They loved the proximity of the Barr Mansion to downtown Austin coupled with the quiet atmosphere, the perfect balance for their wedding. The day was filled with lots of love and laughs including the intimate first look. Courtney and Harrison read personal vows to each other during their first look which added such a special touch to the day. As Courtney walked down the aisle, she wasn’t as nervous as she assumed she would be; she was only focused on Harrison and her excitement to begin their lives as one. Her advice to new brides is to choose everything wisely, but make sure to enjoy it all!
