If there’s one thing we know about Austin brides, it’s that they aren’t afraid to think outside the box when it comes to their wedding aesthetic and go for something completely unique! Typically, brides have only a few common styles to choose from for bridesmaids’ attire. Enter: Margaret Collection. This Texas-based bridesmaids’ boutique offers one-of-a-kind designs for your ‘maids, and if you’re looking for something custom, they can do that, too! Owner and designer Meggie realizes that finding a style that’s universally flattering on all of your girlfriends can be tricky. “We truly try hard to come up with designs that can be flattering and comfortable on most body types. Dress shapes that are universally flattering tend to be strapless bra-friendly, have a nipped in waist, and don’t hug too tightly.”
Meggie also offers this advice for brides when they’re thinking about bridesmaids’ styles: “The bridesmaid dresses should contribute to the overall style of the event, so you want to have some details in place already, like your venue, what the dress code will be, the time of day the wedding will take place and what colors you will use.”
Once you’ve figured out those details, consider having your bridesmaids wear something fun and different. After all, isn’t your wedding supposed to be fun and different, too? For inspiration, we’ve curated four completely unique styles of bridesmaids’ attire from the one and only Margaret Collection. All of them are hand-made in Texas and come in a variety of colors to match your wedding’s aesthetic. Which one is your fave?
