A Classically Chic Wedding Filled with Romantic Burgundy Blooms

With help from pro planner Kristin Catter Events, Michelle and Kacey incorporated classic romance into their chic wedding! By inviting in a palette of rich tones like navy and burgundy, elegant wedding scenes around Ma Maison are accented by pretty pops of champagne décor and rentals from Premiere Events. Guests’ name cards being held by wine bottle corks is such a fun touch but it gets more touching when you know these brides’ love story. 

The pair first met in 2015 while working in the wine and liquor industry which eventually led them to a work trip together, where they quickly hit it off while visiting wineries and getting to know each other. After they returned, they began hanging out more regularly (hitting up a happy hour now and again) and the rest was history! Their beginnings gave Kacey the perfect proposal plan – in 2019, she popped the question at a beautiful spot overlooking a private vineyard on a trip to Napa and Sonoma, California and Michelle said YES!

Guests came from far and wide to celebrate the two for their chic wedding, so staying in cozy accommodations provided by Lucky Arrow Retreat was ideal, and their rehearsal dinner was served there as well with catering provided by Salt Lick BBQ. Both brides looked absolutely radiant tying the knot at Ma Maison with their well-dressed bridesmaids – Michelle in a 3/4 sleeve Kelly Faetanini gown from Serendipity Bridal and bridesmaids in burgundy chiffon gowns while Kacey and her bridesmaids wore sleek, custom-fitted suits. Romantic red and burgundy blooms make up breathtaking installations by Bouquets of Austin, and we can’t take our eyes off the suspended florals above Michelle and Kacey’s altar cascading around a dazzling chandelier at the center. Sweets were in no short supply on this dessert table by Sweet Treets Bakery included cherry butterscotch Poptarts as well as a delectable naked cake adorned with fresh florals and made with layers of strawberry champagne and almond, making it a huge hit among all who attended this chic wedding! Read on for a note from the brides about their favorite wedding vendor and what made them so special.
