PERFECT PROPOSAL: Jaime and Matt had just finished a romantic dinner at the Sunset Marquis Hotel when Matt proposed. Afterward, Matt suggested they get a drink at the bar to celebrate. When they arrived, all of their friends and family, including Jaime’s brother and sister who flew in from New York City, were there to surprise them and celebrate the engagement!
MODERN BOHO: Jaime prefers pieces that are very modern bohemian. She wanted her color palette to be monochromatic, so she chose grey and white and accented with leafy green floral. Jaime and Matt’s altar was a white birch wood chuppah with dream catchers hanging in the background. Their design pieces were a perfect mix of modern and bohemian.
SAVORY SWEETS: Sweet Treets Bakery designed a delicious two-tier chocolate cake with white icing, decorated with small white flowers. Jaime wanted a variety of sweets at her wedding, so Sweets Treets Bakery made cookies, mini cupcakes, cake balls and rice crispy treats to satisfy all of their sweet tooth desires.
VENDOR LOVE: Jaime absolutely loved working with Jennifer Ashford of Altar Ego Weddings, or as she would say—wedding planner extraordinaire! Jaime hired Jennifer for the month and day of services, and Jennifer made her feel so important during the entire experience. They kept everything flowing perfectly as Jaime simply enjoyed with glasses of champagne. Jaime says the whole experience was as worry-free as possible thanks to Altar Ego Weddings.
