PERFECT PROPOSAL: Blaze’s sister knew she wanted to look “picture-ready” for her proposal, so she arranged for them to have professional photos taken as a Christmas gift for their mom. At the last location of the shoot, Jaxon was there playing his guitar and singing “I’ll Be” by Edwin McCain. He had sunflowers nearby and a sign that read, “You are my everything,” with Blaze’s name illuminated in lights. Jaxon popped the question then handed Blaze a Bible engraved with her new last name. Blaze’s family surprised her soon after, making the proposal even more special. It was truly a day she will never forget.
HUES SHE USED: Blaze wanted to implement things that are not usually seen at a traditional wedding. She was inspired by the bohemian-chic style, and loved the idea of a neutral base with pops of glam and color. Blaze chose to use neutral metallic colors with hints of deep green, fuchsia and rose.
BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: The bride’s bouquet incorporated the wild bohemian-chic style she was after. The blooms were an eclectic mix of textural and soft-rounded blooms from Davy Gray.
SPECIAL TOUCHES: Some of the bohemian chic design pieces included a beautiful setting at the altar. Blaze chose to have an elk skull with antlers adorned with wild, flowing greenery and bold floral accents mounted at the top of the altar. Davy Gray created a lush floral headdress to top off the entire scene. At the reception, the bohemian feel continued with branch teepee centerpieces, metallic paint-splattered table runners, copper-tipped antlers and glitter-dipped feathers.
