Blair and Aaron’s wedding in a field of Bluebonnets is the perfect Texas wildflower wedding. The couple met outside of a concert in 2007. Blair and Aaron began a friendship, and a couple of years later, they started dating. Aaron knew how much his future bride loved bluebonnets. Therefore he proposed in a field of the Texas state flower four years to the day of their first kiss. So sweet! In addition, the bluebonnets continued into Blair and Aaron’s special day with their wedding in the Texas Hill Country. After postponing their wedding three times due to Covid, the couple finally said, “I do,” on a spring day with the bluebonnets in full bloom.

When wedding guests arrived at Blair and Aaron’s wedding they received a gin-based cocktail created by Contigo Catering. With cocktails in hand, guests followed a path to the outdoor ceremony. A multicolored arch served as the ceremony backdrop in a field of bluebonnets. After the ceremony, guests headed to the greenhouse on the property for cocktail hour. There, guests enjoyed music from a mariachi band, appetizers, and more signature cocktails from Contigo CateringHowever, the crown jewel of the cocktail hour had to be the ice sculpture oyster tower from Full Spectrum Ice Sculptures. In addition, guests had the opportunity to ride a Ferris wheel that soared above the entire reception. How fun is this! After cocktail hour, the band kicked off the buffet dinner under a tent from Whim Hospitality. The tented reception included bright, colorful florals and decor rentals from Loot Rentals, Premiere Events, and Table Manners. Blair and Aaron enjoyed dancing the night away with their guests before making their grand exit with sparklers. Every detail in this Texas wildflower wedding has us dreaming of fields of bluebonnets. Blair and Aaron’s Favorite Wedding Memory:

“Riding the Ferris wheel at sunset with my husband. I rode the Ferris wheel so much and could not stop hooping and hollering. After so many months of uncertainty, it was amazing to hold my husband’s hand and look down at all of our family and friends on the most beautiful spring day and say, ‘we did it.”
