A Black Tie Garden Party Wedding at The Woodbine Mansion

There’s nothing classier than a black-tie affair, and this garden party wedding took place right in the backyard of The Woodbine Mansion underneath a dreamy, string-lit tent. Wedding planner of seven years, Megan, and her husband Alex put together their nontraditional nuptials with the help of Pearl Events Austin to be the magical, tented event of their dreams and they included so many unique details! Megan and Alex got ready together on their big day, and even got pre-wedding massages from Live Love Relax to make the day even more relaxing and smooth. As guests came in, they picked up a program from a wall at the entrance that had envelopes holding the plan for the night and hand-written personal notes as well. Plentiful greenery and white blooms from Bouquets of Austin adorn nearly every wedding scene but we can’t take our eyes off the suspended floral installation hanging over the outdoor dance floor. Guests enjoyed a delicious reception dinner, signature cocktails and bartending by Crave Catering with some subtle custom details floating around. Personalized ice cubes from Full Spectrum Ice Sculptures add a fun touch to drinks of all kinds! To add even more flair to their dance floor, Megan and Alex made a “wig bar” where guests could choose from various colorful hairdos to grab and get to dancing. From the luxe, modern décor from Premiere Events, Table Manners and others to the fun party atmosphere, this garden party wedding was certainly a night to remember. Read on for a note from the bride about one of her favorite details to include in their wedding day. Cheers to the Bronners!

From the bride: “Alex’s dad passed away a few years ago, so we really wove him throughout the wedding. He would always say ‘just another day in paradise,’ so our officiant worked that into the ceremony and we had it written on the bathroom mirrors as a sweet reminder that it actually was a day in paradise.”
