Beautiful Backyard Austin Wedding from Lee Warth Floral Design | Kylie + Garrett

SWEET BEGINNINGS: Kylie and Garrett were introduced at a Texas Tech University-Texas Christian University football game by two of their dearest friends. Kylie was working for Texas Tech football at the time and Garrett was watching his younger brother play for TCU.
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Kylie and Garrett were at a football game in Dallas where his alma mater, Southern Methodist University, was playing his brother’s team, TCU. Near the end of the game, Garrett asked Kylie to walk onto the field with him so they could get a picture with his brother. Before she knew it, Garrett was down on one knee proposing to her on the field. She happily said yes and was overcome with joy to find that Garrett had her parents fly in to witness it all.
THE SETTING: Kylie and Garrett were married at Central Christian Church and held their reception in their family’s backyard. Once the two started researching venues, they realized nothing could beat a backyard reception. Their goal was to create an environment that felt secluded and almost enchanted, right in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.
GET HER LOOK: The bride wore an elegant silk faille gown designed by Liancarlo. The classic silhouette was fashioned with a high illusion neckline and French Alencon lace. Covered buttons adorned the low-V back of the gown, dramatically accenting her fluted skirt.
BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: Kylie envisioned an all-white bouquet to represent purity and to complement the classic feel of the ceremony, and Lee Warth Floral Design did not disappoint! Kylie carried a gorgeous mix of all-white flowers including peonies, hydrangeas, ranunculus, Nerine lilies and garden roses.
SPECIAL TRADITIONS: The ceremony was very traditional, and opened and closed in prayer. The Lord’s Prayer was sung while the new Mr. and Mrs. took communion.
