Austin Wedding Planner Profile: Pearl Events Austin

We’re back with a new edition of our Planner Profile series today, featuring Becky Navarro and her team at Pearl Events Austin! Becky has planned just about every type of event, from glamorous weddings to eco-friendly dinners, corporate events, parties for major television networks and everything in between. Becky’s favorite part of her job? Sharing in precious moments with her clients. Her approach to planning weddings is to relish the small details without losing sight of the bigger picture. “One of my favorite moments is being with a bride right before she walks down the aisle. It’s so emotional, and it’s rewarding to help her fully experience and enjoy that moment, without the stress or distraction of event details,” Becky says.

Becky and her team of six professional Austin wedding planners are a respected group of women, known for planning and executing fantastic, memorable events and serving their clients wholeheartedly along the way. “We have an office in central Austin off 38th Street and our whole team comes to the office every day. It allows us to collaborate, ask questions, pick each other’s brains and have great vendor meetings. Our style is typically timeless, classic with a touch of trendy. We don’t like to go too overboard with trends because then events can look dated, but we do like to stay current. We also really enjoy rigging things from the ceiling and designing really show-stopping hanging installations,” Becky says. Keep scrolling to see more of the Pearl Events team’s beautiful work!

Gabby and Russell’s wedding was far from cookie cutter. The bride loved the idea of incorporating unique textures and darker romantic tones. They did the grey and gold thing, before it was a thing! Each and every detail reflected the couple’s personalities. For example, the first flowers Russell ever gave Gabby were orange pincushions, so the florist made sure to incorporate those into the bridal bouquet. Small touches like that made this wedding so very special.

“I love the outdoor space at the Four Seasons and love it even more with their turf! This was one of my favorite weddings because e had never done this lighting install before and I LOVE hanging things when we are inside a room. This gave us the impact of having something from above and it was so beautiful! We started the lighting install on Friday and it just turned out so lovely and dreamy!” Becky shares.

As for other trends, Becky says she’s “really enjoying the trend of small guest counts to use budget on thoughtful details: florals, tabletop, stationery, food, etc. Couples are choosing to have less people so they can use their budget to create their dream wedding!”
