Tell us about the design for this tablescape:
“When creating my design, I was given the opportunity to shape what my dream wedding would resemble. My tablescape inspiration stemmed from an ethereal garden, focusing on neutral tones and a play on texture. I envisioned my design to reflect romance and femininity. I wanted the main color palette to be creams, taupes, whites and greens. My goal was for the design to display nature in its beauty.”
How do you create a cohesive wedding design?
“The greatest way in which I make my wedding designs cohesive is by creating a mood board. I pull facets of the entire wedding day and highlight how everything from something as seemingly simple as the bouquet to the wedding reception tie together. I feel it’s paramount to have a common style, color palette & vision throughout the whole day in order to achieve unified elegance.”
What do you love most about being a planner?
“One of the most beloved aspects of being a wedding planner is getting to develop close knit relationships with my clients. When I invest time in each of my couples, it allows me to learn what’s important to them. In return, this makes me a better planner by ensuring I have taken the time to prioritize and apply their wants and needs into their special day. It’s an honor to be selected to take on such a significant responsibility of planning a wedding. I want to make sure the implementation comes out precisely the way the couple has envisioned one of the most extraordinary days of their life to be.”
Where do you find inspiration?
“My inspiration for design comes from fashion, world cultures, and patterns seen from year to year. I want my designs to be classic, but also evolve as trends circulate. I want my designs to resonate with all types of clientele. My inspiration and drive for my career development are rooted in my family. They are my foundation and encourage me to do my best every day! They are my ‘why.’ I aspire to be the role model for my children that enables them to realize they can achieve anything they want through diligent work and perseverance. My motto is inspire, encourage and dream!”
