About The Artist
“I went to art school for fashion design back before I started this crazy little flower business. So that’s definitely still the way my brain is wired and you can see a lot of fashion influences in my work. When I first got into weddings, I was doing my internship at a planning firm and making a little extra cash by working at the flower shop my aunt had just opened. Those worlds collided, and here we are! While our designs are of the moment, they definitely are riddled with unexpected elements that keep them on the leading edge of what’s fashionable.”
About The Design
“We were asked to make a design that best represents our style. So I, of course, went with something that was refined and elegant, but still relaxed and playful. I did that by using lush romantic flowers, like peonies and ranunculus, in a fun, unexpected color palette. In any form of art, sometimes the hardest thing is to show restraint in whatever you’re creating. So in this arrangement, I really love that it grabs your attention without being too over the top. “
