About The Artists
“Gypsy Floral focuses on developing our events with our clients so every element from boutonnieres to large scale installations becomes a direct reflection of this collaboration. We don’t follow a formula, and we try to focus on the personal details of our couples’ stories to add texture and context to our designs. We don’t put our flowers on an assembly line, and all of our arrangements benefit from the gaze and touch of multiple designers – this creates arrangements which are unique and organic. We take our time and let the individual personality of our flowers guide our design.
We are inspired by the landscapes we encounter, the stories and tastes of the couples we’re creating with, floral still life painting throughout art history and the colors and textures of Austin. Our inspiration, like our design is always evolving and heavily influenced by the flowers themselves.”
About The Design
“For this shoot, we designed a lush, overflowing arrangement starring some of our favorite blooms – peonies, ranunculus and garden roses. The shape honors dutch still life images which inspire our work. We love the way the flowers and greens melt together and create indulgent layers from the various depths of the blooms. We also strive to give every flower ‘it’s moment’ to shine in an arrangement, so we utilize our materials where they would be most impactful.”
