PERFECT PROPOSAL: Brigid was completely surprised by John on a Friday after work. He had planned the proposal specifically around a weekend when Brigid’s mother could fly from Connecticut to join the family for a sweet celebration after the proposal. Brigid thought it was especially sweet and thoughtful that John had considered her family in his proposal plans, knowing it would mean so much to her.
HUES SHE USED: Brigid wanted her wedding to have a reserved elegance. To be very simplistic and clean, she chose a color palette of cream, ivory, pale green, gray and gold. Green boxwood wreaths lined the pews and the altar to match the soft elegance of the color scheme.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: The sweetest moment for Brigid and John was the first look right before the ceremony. They met each other outside on the balcony of The Driskill for a joy-filled moment all to themselves.
WORDS OF WISDOM: Brigid’s wedding planners, Brock + Co. Events, were a huge help in organizing every aspect and detail of the wedding. Brigid loved having a great team of planners because it allowed her to truly enjoy the entire process, and not just the end result.
GET HER LOOK: Brigid wore a cream, strapless gown with handmade origami-style flowers of varying sizes and shapes dispersed from the bodice to the hem. She paired her gown with a gorgeous matching veil with origami flowers. Brigid accessorized her gown with Deirdre Featherstone custom-designed South Sea pearl platinum and diamond earrings. She carried a gorgeous bouquet of cream roses, peonies and ranunculus with a hint of soft peach.
