Wed Society Austin Connect Event Recap

On March 25, 2025, the Wed Society Austin Connect Event brought together an incredible group of wedding professionals for a morning filled with networking, learning, and creative experiences. Hosted at the stunning Ma Maison, the event provided a beautiful setting where vendors could connect and engage in meaningful conversations.

A Warm Welcome with Refreshments and Culinary Delights

Guests were greeted with a delightful selection of refreshments, courtesy of Peak Beverage, who served specialty cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine. For those seeking a bite to eat, Vestals Catering provided an array of delicious passed appetizers and light bites, ensuring everyone stayed fueled throughout the event.

Elegant Ambiance and Top-Notch Event Setup

The ambiance was elevated by the stunning floral arrangements from The Perfect Day, adding a touch of elegance to the venue. Meanwhile, ATX Event Systems took care of all technical and AV needs, ensuring flawless sound and visuals, including the TVs by the stage and microphones for the panel discussion. Pour Vous Entertainment kept the energy alive, serving as both DJ and MC, providing the perfect mix of music and essential announcements.

Bright Event Rentals contributed to the event’s aesthetic with their beautiful linens, glassware, flatware, and a white 8’ bar. Peak Events by KRD added a touch of rustic charm with a mix of round rattan and vineyard seating for the panel portion. Quest Events completed the look with their luxurious Edison Gold Chairs with Pink Blush Velvet Cushions, and their dramatic pipe and draping setup with a-symmetrical ceiling swags.

Creative Experiences for Attendees

Attendees enjoyed a fun, interactive paint-by-the-numbers experience provided by A. Curtis Creations, allowing them to add their touch to a collective masterpiece. Each guest also received coloring pages at their place setting, designed by Avery of A. Curtis Creations, providing a creative outlet while listening to the panel.

Capturing Memories: Photography, Video, and More

Haley Folkman Photography captured stunning shots of the event, including detail shots, team photos, and candid networking moments. Moments by Gabby brought a modern twist, creating content and capturing vendor testimonials using her iPhone. MBP Photo Booth set up a corporate headshot photo booth, giving everyone the chance to update their professional images.

The Phone Booth ATX added a playful touch with its “Spill the Tea” booth, fitting perfectly with our Bridgerton theme. Guests could share advice, shout out other vendors, or simply leave a fun message, creating memorable audio clips perfect for social media.

Sweet Treats and Seamless Coordination

Satisfying everyone’s sweet tooth, The Cupcake Bar brought their signature roaming cannoli service, complete with custom tray vinyl and cannoli cube art for a truly unique dessert experience.

Simply XO Events, led by Jordyn and Alexis, ensured the event ran seamlessly, managing the timeline, layout, and all the behind-the-scenes details. Our heartfelt thanks to them for making everything flow perfectly.

Insights from Industry Experts: Our Engaging Panel Discussion

The event culminated in an engaging panel discussion featuring insights from industry leaders: Karen Moise with Ma Maison, Katy Padilla with Scarlet Rose Events + Collective, Santiago Dietche with Dart Collective, and Olivia Hartwell with Party at the Moontower.
