Adventurous Austin Elopement Inspo from Nikk Nguyen Photography

Whether you love ATX for its urban cityscape views or its lakeside natural beauty, this adventurous Austin elopement inspo has it all! Nikk Nguyen wanted to showcase both sides of Austin, so this inspirational styled shoot began at the historic Driskill Hotel, from where the couple sauntered through the downtown streets before heading to a dreamy mountaintop ceremony and intimate dinner at Mount Bonnell on Lake Austin. Wildly Cultivated designed an organic bouquet, gorgeous altar install and statement-making centerpiece all with pink blooms and frothy fronds for a soft, approachable vibe, while Loot Vintage provided the simple metal altar for al-fresco vows. A flower crown, simple jewels and loose, beachy waves play perfectly with the Alexandra Grecco dress from Unbridaled. From an iconic hotel to the best hilltop views in the city, this styled shoot gives us all kinds of ideas for an adventurous Austin elopement – we’re here for it all!

From the photographer: “Being an Austin, Texas, wedding photographer means you need to know the best spots in town that will offer inspiration to those preparing for their big day. That’s why I chose the locations you’ll see in this urban and cliffside boho styled shoot. It’s definitely another incredible inspiration shoot in the books and one that didn’t disappoint in the least! It was loads of fun to put together and even more fun to photograph and with all of the roaming around the city, this became the first shoot where I’ve actually needed a dedicated assistant just to carry my bag! We kicked off this epic shoot by hijacking the lobby of the Driskill Hotel to get ready. They were really great about it, which I am super thankful for because the images that we got in there are amazing! From the hotel we started our trek throughout the city snapping photos all along the way. For the last part we headed to Mount Bonnell to capture some breathtaking cliffside ceremony shots.”
