A Classic and Elegant True Texas Wedding

Kennedy and Logan’s elegant and classic wedding at Camp Lucy is a true Texas soirėe. The couple’s most perfect December day in the Texas Hill Country contained bbq appetizers, mezcal margaritas, and ranch waters. Kennedy and Logan met in Austin in the lobby of their apartment. The two quickly connected and realized they were both starting jobs for the same company. Nine months after meeting, Logan and Kennedy officially started dating. Ultimately the two realized they were soulmates, and on Kennedy’s 25th birthday, Logan popped the question. Logan surprised Kennedy with a ring and party with 30+ of their closest family and friends. Talk about the best birthday ever! Eventually, it came time to plan their elegant and classic wedding, so the couple hired Kristin Catter Events to help plan their Texas fairytale. Their wedding in the Texas Hill Country included a semi-traditional outdoor Catholic ceremony with their pup Rainey as the flower girl. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, signature drinks, and Topo Chicos carried by adorable donkeys. Guests then made their way into the reception space filled with gold accented decor, full white blooms, and luscious greenery from Whim Hospitality. The new Mr. and Mrs. King danced the night away with Plush Party Band that kept the party going with their energetic entertainment. Finally, the night ended with alcoholic root beer floats and a sparkler grand exit before Kennedy and Logan headed to the Fairmont Austin Hotel.
