THE SETTING: Molly and Ross were married at Vista West Ranch. It is a unique blend of rustic bohemian chic with weathered wood, aged tin, stained concrete floors, and willow sphere lighting inside the barn, which doubled as both the ceremony and reception venue due to inclement weather on the day of the wedding.
HUES SHE USED: The bride envisioned a color scheme that would look natural in the Hill Country setting, while giving off an intimate, romantic and bohemian vibe. With it being fall, the couple wanted hints of deep red and lots of greenery to warm up the space. The wedding party attire helped pull the theme together – the girls wore mismatched gowns with pops of gold, and the guys wore dark grey pants and vests, with chocolate and beige ties and brown boots.
AMAZING ALTAR: Due to storms, the ceremony was moved indoors, but the altar turned out to be gorgeous. The couple purchased vintage barn doors that were used as the backdrop for the altar with large arrangements of florals and greenery on a rustic table in front of the doors. There was also a mix of pillar candles and flowers on top of the table that gave it an extra pop. A custom wine box sat on the altar that they filled with love letters during the ceremony. The altar was also adorned with dried baby’s breath around the large French doors, which let in natural light and views of the ranch.
SPECIAL TOUCHES: The bride teamed up with Bee Lavish to make three unique lounge areas that would help create an intimate, romantic space for the reception. The additional furniture throughout the venue played into the bohemian theme while adding a cozy feel.
