PERFECT PROPOSAL: Ashley and Bobby were in Vail, Colorado, visiting Ashley’s parents and extended family. On Christmas evening, Bobby surprised Ashley with dinner at her favorite restaurant and a proposal! She happily said yes, and her family was waiting with champagne and smiles when the newly engaged couple returned home.
GET HER LOOK: Ashley wore an elegant trumpet gown by Matthew Christopher featuring a deep sweetheart neckline, covered satin buttons and a sweeping modified chapel-length train, all fashioned from dotted Swiss netting over satin duchess covered in French alencon lace.
SAYING “I DO”: Ashley felt pure bliss walking down the aisle; her heart was overflowing with love and she knew it was just the beginning of happily ever after.
SPECIAL TRADITIONS: It was important to the couple that both of their backgrounds be represented at their wedding. They had a traditional Jewish ceremony and the rabbi was able to integrate English, Hebrew and Spanish to honor Ashley’s religious traditions and Bobby’s Hispanic heritage.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Aside from the joy of seeing two families become one, the couple’s most memorable moment from their wedding day was watching the members of their wedding party perform surprise dances as they were introduced at the reception. Ashley and Bobby loved being surprised and thought the dances were a great way to start the party.
GRAND EXIT: The newlyweds drove away in a beautiful white 1963 Bentley. They felt that it was a treat to enjoy those special moments together alone at the end of the day.
