Mackinsey and Austin’s wedding was filled with meaningful details, starting with Mackinsey’s grandmother’s vintage locket, a heartfelt tribute to her family heritage. For Austin, the University of Texas played a big role in his life, having been a proud member of the ‘Texas Cowboys,’ a group responsible for firing the UT canon (Smokey) during football games. Even more special, his father was part of the brother organization, the ‘Texas Spurs,’ who handled Bevo, the university’s live longhorn mascot. These traditions added a deeply personal connection to their celebration.

The Summerhills began their wedding day with an unforgettable sunrise moment, exploring the scenic grounds of the Videre Estate on a Can-Am Off-Road ride. They shared memories of their relationship as they looked out over the estate’s breathtaking views, savoring a peaceful start to their day before diving into the festivities. While Mackinsey and her bridal party got pampered in the estate’s luxurious bridal suite by Think Brink Beauty, the excitement for the day ahead continued to build, and content creator Moments by Gabby captured it all.

The Summerhills hosted a breathtaking outdoor ceremony on the terrace, offering panoramic views of the sprawling estate. The venue was elegantly decorated with lush pink and white floral arrangements alongside rentals from Premiere Events, creating a stunning backdrop. In a nod to their Texas roots, Bevo, the University of Texas’ beloved live mascot, made a special appearance, delighting guests. The day’s theme, “Hooked on You,” was a clever Texas pun that perfectly captured the spirit of their celebration.

Their golf-themed seating chart added a playful touch, with each guest greeted by a personalized tee and golf ball. As the evening unfolded, guests enjoyed yummy bites and then hit the dance floor, celebrating late into the night.
