The romantic deep jewel tones in Natalie and Andrew’s wedding completely swept us off our feet! The two met through mutual friends and knew their love was extremely special. In 2019, Andrew received news he had Stage 4 cancer. Through it all, Natalie stood by his side, and Andrew successfully defeated cancer. After going through such a scary time, the couple moved to Austin to begin their new life. On a cold January afternoon, Natalie and Andrew went to see the construction on their soon-to-be home. After Andrew distracted Natalie while waiting for the painters to leave, he got down on one knee and proposed in the home the two were building together. Natalie told us, “he even has paint on the knee of his jeans now thanks to the painters” A stain the couple probably doesn’t mind having.
On a beautiful April evening, Natalie and Andrew said, “I do” at Camp Lucy with their family and friends in attendance. Natalie walked down the aisle with both of her parents in a gown from Unbridaled. Saying their vows was such a special moment for Natalie and Andrew after everything they had been through together. After becoming husband and wife, it was time to celebrate! The couple’s romantic reception space was filled with dancing, food, and a slice of cake from Sweet Treets Bakery. Champagne Supply Co. greeted guests with champagne and, later in the evening, turned into a beignet and coffee bar. Throughout the entire day, Whim Hospitality provided the most beautiful jewel-tone florals. The couple shared with us, “to be able to stand up and profess our love and commitment to one another in front of our loved ones was incredibly special.” Cheers to the newlyweds! Natalie and Andrew’s Favorite Memory:
“Saying our vows on our wedding day. Drew had stage 4 cancer in 2019 and it was a really scary time. After he beat cancer, we moved to Austin, and while our home was under construction, he proposed to me in our future home. Our vows were personal and really touching, since we both had been through so much together, especially with his cancer. We weren’t sure he was going to make it in 2019, so to be able to stand up and profess our love and commitment to one another in front of our loved ones was incredibly special, and will always be something to cherish for both of us.”
