Gatsby Inspired Austin Wedding from Dustin Meyer Photography | Chassie + Noah
October 23
SWEET BEGINNINGS: Chassie and Noah met as first graders on the playground at school in Cypress, Texas.
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Noah blindfolded Chassie on the way to “see his parents” on Thanksgiving. When she removed the blindfold, she realized they were on the playground where they met. Amidst candles, rose petals and a video, Noah proposed!
GET HER LOOK: The bride wore a free-flowing Marchesa gown featuring a sheer beaded bodice underlined with gold and cream lace, cap sleeves, a small train and a beaded belt.
GREAT GATSBY: Chassie and Noah chose a 1920s-inspired Great Gatsby theme for their wedding, accented with hues of white, ivory and gold.
SPECIAL TRADITIONS: Chassie wore her late grandmother’s gloves during the reception, and a chandelier from the wedding will go in Chassie and Noah’s home as a Hill sister tradition.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: The wedding party choreographed a dance to Chassie and Noah’s favorite songs and performed it at the reception—the couple loved it!
FAB FESTIVITIES: The couple had an Amelia Phonograph playing music for the Gatsby theme before the ceremony and during dinner. Fireworks took place after dinner on the way to the ballroom for dancing. They also offered a cigar bar rolling fresh cigars, scotch bar, casino tables, an airstream photobooth trailer, a DJ and candy bar. Every guest was sure to be entertained for the evening!
