We love the easy-going mentality of Galen and Dillon’s romantic Texas Garden Party wedding. The Texas couple met during their time at TCU. However, the couple didn’t become more than just acquaintances until their graduation ceremony when they sat next to each other. Galen and Dillon describe themselves as “low key easy-going people” and wanted that to translate into their special day. Ultimately, they accomplished this with their easy, simple, and elegant garden party. Every detail of their wedding felt so delicate and romantic. The intimate ceremony accurately represented the couple being gospel-focused and the guests hearing directly from them their marriage intentions. We love that Galen and Dillon opted to do a first touch to save the surprise of the first look for the altar. Dillon prayed over his soon-to-be bride at the first touch, and this moment became one of the couple’s favorite memories of the day. The whole room gazed at Galen as she walked down the aisle to her groom in a gown fit for a Texas garden party with sheer sleeves. At the altar, Galen’s father handed her over to Dillon, where the couple exchanged heartfelt handwritten vows that had the whole room in tears. After the ceremony, the couple flipped their tented space into their Texas garden party reception of their dreams with the help of Widely Cultivated Floral Design. Lush greens, muted florals, and candle-lit light made the space feel so romantic but still a true representation of the newlywed’s style. Guests enjoyed cake from Sweet Treets Bakery as they partied and danced in feather boas with the live band. Finally, the couple enjoyed a private dance together before making their grand exit into a baby blue bronco as husband and wife. From the bride: “We both learned how to prioritize ourselves as a couple while also accommodating the people we were inviting to the ceremony. At the end of the day, we wanted our wedding to be a true representation of our relationship.”
