A Pretty Pastel + Dreamy Tented Summer Soiree Full of Thoughtful Details
September 21
This summer soiree planned by Heavenly Day Events was nothing short of dreamy and bursting with thoughtful details created by the bride herself! Aiming for a romantic day that combined traditional style with a bit of a southern touch, Sarah and Cory wanted to give nods to their home (New York) while also very much incorporating their Texas roots – with table names as streets from their neighborhoods in NYC, to the custom embroidery hoop escort wall (all made by the bride!) and even their venue Camp Lucy playing a part in it all. With the majority of their guests coming from out of state, the couple wanted to show everyone a flavor of what Hill Country had to offer, and there was no prettier place with the best BBQ + views in the state than Pecan Grove with eats from Salt Lick BBQ! Guests were able to catch up after a long year in quarantine with lawn games and mingling with the couple, then retreating to Camp Lucy for a night of s’mores, swimming and relaxing before all the celebratory festivities the next day.
Nestled on the beautiful grounds of Camp Lucy, this pretty pastel, dreamy tented soiree came to life with ALL the pink, peach and white hues! With a Remi + Gold floral adorned arch, Sarah and Cory said their “I Dos” under the sacred oaks – Cory’s one wedding day request that looks like a fairytale and incorporates the epitome of the natural beauty of Texas all in one. Stepping into the reception, we’re instantly captivated by the hanging greenery from Remi + Gold, complimented by dusty rose and gold decor from Whim Hospitality and Marquee Event Rentals. Simple yet absolutely stunning tablescapes complete with custom napkins with the couple’s wedding monogram made ideal seats for guests to enjoy scrumptious eats from Camp Lucy and bites of that decadent cake from Sweet Treets Bakery. Scroll to see all of the incredible details of Sarah and Cory’s wedding day captured by Sophie Epton Photography – including all of the thoughtful, handmade details from the bride herself. Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Williamson!

From the bride about her favorite wedding day details: “I’m very close to my adopted mother, so I wanted to honor some of the traditions and pastimes she taught me. The ‘craft’ theme for multiple things was a huge part of that – the embroidery hoop escort wall, embroidered ring bearer pillow and napkins, the quilt guest book and the handkerchiefs as gifts for everyone were all references to skills I learned from my mom.”
