Rosemary & Basil | A Garden Inspired Editorial with European Influence

Soft colors blend with the elegant, open-air design of rustic Mae’s Ridge where a garden inspired editorial plays out with plenty of European influence throughout its design, styled by Andria Leigh Events. Keeping décor and rentals simple is key for not overwhelming the eye, meaning all the more reason they should be impactful and interesting to look at like these chic pieces from Premiere Events that totally set the tone. Tailor James Photography documents all the details up close and personal as textured linens, marble candlestick holders and crystal accents make for a Euro-inspired tablescape. Kicked up a notch by lush, full arrangements from Wildly Cultivated Floral Design in a timeless yet contemporary color palette, this goes to show that a minimalist wedding can absolutely have maximalist style. Speaking of style, monochrome is so in at the moment and we think Design to Flourish has just the right idea, carrying over your invitation suite’s single color into menus, bar signage and more, all around the affair. Their arched paperie made the perfect signature cocktail menu where guests could order up one of two delicious options from Contigo Catering – a “Birdfeeder” or “In Case of Emergency” cocktail. Read on for a note from the planner responsible for the design and styling of this garden inspired editorial shoot. Cheers!

From the planner, Andria with Andria Leigh EventsThe design behind our shoot was centered around a European garden-inspired wedding featuring a luxe, living cocktail bar with climbing florals and greenery, made-to-order cocktails with fresh herbs and garnishes, and an intimately romantic tablescape contrasted against the modern lines of the stunning venue, Mae’s Ridge.”

From the invitation designer, Kelli with Design to Flourish: “This design is for the minimalist bride with maximum style. It shows that using a single color in your invitation suite can truly make your invitations stand out.”
