Brides of Austin Launch Party Recap

Just last month, after nearly a year in the making, we released the highly anticipated inaugural issue of Brides of Austin Magazine with an over the top celebration at Brazos Hall in downtown Austin! We are seriously still on cloud 9 after spending an amazing evening celebrating the release with such a fun and talented group of Austin wedding vendors. Today we’re sharing a glimpse of this incredible celebration that we couldn’t have pulled off without the amazing ladies from The Nouveau Romantics. The Royal Fig catering team blew us away with the most delicious spread of Tex-Mex inspired fare that went hand in hand with the tasty signature cocktails provided by Deep Eddy Vodka and wine selections provided by The Austin Winery!  Loot Vintage Rentals and Premiere Events made each table, lounge area and detail look stunning, while Margot Blair Floral added beautiful flowers throughout the vast space. Ilios Lighting transformed the space with amazing uplighting and festoon lights and guests had a blast takings pics in the Smilebooth photo booth. Social Print Studio played a huge roll in bringing the  pages of the magazine to life by providing an installation of prints as well as their visualizer screen which displayed beautiful images from the pages of the first issue along with photos from the evening tagged using the hashtag #keepaustinwed! Our amazing guitarist, Bryce Merritt, kicked off the evening before turning over the reins to Texas Pro DJ who dropped the sick beats for our lively crowd! At 7:30pm, we moved the fun upstairs to the rooftop where guests walked into an amazing streamer installation by The Color Condition and after a few short words from the publishers, were finally able to get their hands on a copy of the magazine, perfectly housed in a glamorous tent provided by Shelter Co. We hope all of our guests had the chance to visit La Pasteleria Dulce, a unique bakery concept providing sweet treats from our talented bakery partners — 2 Tarts Bakery, Baked by Amy’s, Blue Note Bakery, Classic Cakes by Lori, Coco Paloma Desserts, Green Lily Bakery, Hill Country Cakery, Love Birds Sweets, Simon Lee Bakery, Simply Delicious Custom Cakes, Stregare Cheesecake Company & Sweet Treets Bakery!  Guests even got to take some of these goodies home with them in custom togo bakery boxes adorned with “Austin” pennants made by the fabulous Little Skunk Co.  The darling signage for the bakery and throughout the party was perfectly calligraphed by Wondrous Whimsy. To end the fabulous night, party goers got to leave with amazing Brides of Austin swag bags filled with favors from Lucky Lab Coffee, Deep Eddy Vodka, Baked by Amy’s, Social Print Studio and more!
