Modern decor meets moody hues – and it’s safe to say we’re obsessed! Austin couple, Ian and Rex, combined their styles to create a romantic ambience that would leave their guests speechless. With a dream wedding in mind, Ian and Rex knew that the perfect combination of detail and vision would be the heartbeat of their wedding day. Since this couple met for the first time in Austin, it only made sense to get married in the first place sparks started to fly. Living out-of-state while planning their big day, Ian and Rex both agree that their wedding planner, Ellen Westcott with Westcott Weddings, served as the visionary who made their wedding day one to remember. From an elegant cake by Sweet Treets Bakery that fit the moody color scheme to dark greenery surrounding white florals by Stems Floral Design above the altar, every detail was an intentional reflection of the couple’s style throughout the night.
To make this evening even more special, Ian and Rex had live entertainment by Plush Party Band which made their dance floor a space guests never wanted to leave. Ian and Rex described one of the best parts of their wedding weekend as seeing their people all together – friends and family getting to know each other over an appetizer at a nearby restaurant or hanging out by the pool at Hotel Van Zandt… this couple will forever cherish the time spent with their most important people.
