SWEET BEGINNINGS: Brittany and Trent met through Brittany’s stepbrother and best friend at the Kaboom Town firework show in Addison. Both Brittany and Trent played hard to get until a few weeks later when Trent wrote on Brittany’s Facebook wall. His move was that he thought her name was Whitney. It worked.
PERFECT PROPOSAL: After dating for a few years, the couple went to Coachella with friends and it changed their lives. Brittany and Trent swore they would go back and they did the very next year. This time, it was just the two of them. Brittany was so excited for the trip that it never crossed her mind that Trent could possibly propose. After unpacking and setting up the tent at their campsite at sunset, the most beautiful time in Indio Valley, the couple was looking forward to the Ferris wheel about to open for the evening. Trent wanted to take everything in from the roof of the car so he asked Brittany to join him and she is so thankful he did. As they stood on the roof watching the Ferris wheel lights turn on and the sky change colors, Trent said a few sweet things and before Brittany knew it, he was on one knee and a ring was on her finger. It was perfect. Brittany and Trent spent the rest of their trip enjoying being newly engaged before the wedding planning began.
AMAZING ALTAR: Brittany and Trent’s ceremony was outdoors under the trees in the Hoffman Haus Gardens. They had an arbor covered in succulents, white and blush blooms, and greenery, which was truly breathtaking.
SAVORY SWEETS: The bride and groom chose to break tradition and did not have a cake! Since Trent loves s’mores and Brittany grew to love them as well, they had a s’mores bar for dessert. Along with the traditional toppings, there were also peanut butter cups, salted caramel squares and even bacon! It was a huge hit.
VENDOR LOVE: Without their wedding planner Ashlyn from Sweet Magnolia Floral Studio, the couple’s wedding would not have been as amazing as it turned out. Since Sweet Magnolia is based out of Austin, Ashlyn was so helpful in coordinating all the moving pieces in Fredericksburg. Ashlyn also helped the indecisive bride make a lot of hard decisions!
