What is your process for bringing a couple’s vision to life?

“I begin each planning process with getting to know my couple inside and out. I gather all the details they have envisioned for their event and execute designs based on their style and budget. We use vision boards and tons of communication to ensure their wedding is exactly as they have always imagined it would be.”

Where do you find inspiration?

“I find inspiration from all over, but mostly within the wedding planning community itself. Since becoming a planner, I have realized that competition is almost non existent and fellow wedding planners are your biggest resource. Everyone is open to sharing their ideas and experiences, and I have felt such an incredible sense of support since joining this profession.”

What can a couple expect when working with you?

“While working with me, a couple can expect to be treated as dear friends. I always strive to make my clients feel comfortable and open with me, like they can tell me anything. I never want them to feel like I am a vendor performing a job. Rather, someone they can go to about anything and always has their back. Whether it’s bargaining with vendors, helping with deliveries or just there to listen and relate.”

Tell us about your initial consultation with your couples:

“My initial consultation meeting consists of getting to know my couple and their needs over beer or coffee, preferably beer. This is the first opportunity they have to get a feel of my personality and style, which sets the tone for our entire relationship. Clients can expect an extremely laid back experience laughing, exchanging stories and gushing about their dream wedding.”

What is one thing a couple should know when hiring a wedding planner?

“Your planner is there to make your life easier.  They should be someone who makes you feel safe, secure and stress free. Someone you have an instant connection with, that takes weight off your shoulders from the very beginning. There should be no doubt in your mind that this is the person you want beside you on your big day. That’s when you know you have found the right person for the job.”
