We could not be more excited to share this vibrantly artful affair from Westcott Weddings! The Blanton Museum of Art framed the scene perfectly, offering a gorgeous, modern flair that we just can’t get enough of. This contemporary vibe was countered by warm pops of color, courtesy of Bricolage Curated Florals and Loot Rentals. Captured by Julie Wilhite Photography, splashes of pink and yellow worked to soften the edginess of traditional modern style, and bring a unique vision to life. Fine Day Press created the sweetest invitation suite and menu cards, emphasizing the artistic design approach with a combination of raw brush strokes. The Powder Sugar Room emulated a similar aesthetic with their delectable two-tiered masterpiece that has our mouths watering!
We hope you’re just as obsessed with this dreamy inspiration shoot as we are, and can’t wait to continue to share more from our latest Spring/Summer 2019 issue. Read on for a word from the planner herself, and don’t forget to follow us on Pinterest for even more beautiful wedding trends. Cheers!

From the planner, Ellen Westcott of Westcott Weddings: “I wanted to juxtapose the modernity of the space with a bright, fun color palette. I love how the full spectrum of color works together to create a warm, yet modern vibe. For the dining table, we warmed up the Blanton‘s famous blue wall with a rich velvet linen and loads of fluffy florals in shades of pink. To offset the ‘frillier’ pieces, we kept the rest of the design understated (but still lovely)! The menus and place cards (with hand-painted brushstrokes) added one final pop of color and fun to the table and tied everything together.”
