Ashley and Aaron met at Louisiana State University and even though they didn’t date right away they knew they had met someone special. They eventually started dating long distance; Aaron was living in Dallas and Ashley was in Nashville. After a little over a year of long distance dating, Aaron knew he was ready to pop the question.

Aaron flew to Nashville in January and made dinner reservations at a new restaurant Ashley wanted to try. Ashley finished getting ready for dinner when Aaron stopped and told her how lucky he was to have her in his life. He got down on one knee and proposed in her living room. The center stone in the engagement ring was extra special to Ashley. It was a stone that her late grandfather had given to her mother. Ashley loved the sentimental and intimate proposal.
